Additionally, I will add this -- it is
possible (but not certain) that my account was penalised for not honouring the
Terms of Service, or posting off-centre, spammy, or irrelevant comments, as I
did receive one warning for this in the recent past, when advertising an online
petition.
Furthermore, I was posting to a wall
when I got locked out.
However, I did not receive a Terms of
Service violation at that time, but rather, I received a request to confirm my
account via entering a reset code which was purportedly sent by Facebook to my
cell phone. Only problem was, I had just changed said cell phone, as it was
receiving spam text messages, and perhaps I had not updated my Facebook profile
to a new cell phone. So, I selected the "Resent code via a [voice,
landline] phone call" option, knowing that my home phone number,
listed in my Facebook profile, was still current and that I still had access to
my home phone (863-688-9880). However, I kept getting a string of ALL TYPES of
error message (example: 'Our systems are currently overloaded. Please try again
in a few minutes,' or even: 'You are requesting too many codes in a
short period of time. Please try again later.' -- and see the attached
screen shots in this email's attachments for clarification).
Thus, I am locked out. Please tell me what
went wrong, and what proposed solution you might suggest.
