Dear City of Chicago Police Department:

    I am writing you because I need your assistance with a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request of certain public documents in your department. Specifically, I request any and all police reports filed my one Richard B. Daniggelis, who, of recent, used to live at 1720 North Sedgwick St. (Old Town District), Chicago, IL 60614. It is my understanding that he filed this in the 18th District, so I'm attempting to include them in the cc line here. (NOTE: His name is occasionally misspelled, say, with one 'g' or two 'small L's,' but the above is the correct spelling: He is approximately 77-years-old, just to be clear on making sure you get the right person, should there be a question.)
    I'm the legal reporter assigned to an investigative fraud story with regard to allegations of a "Mortgage Rescue Scam" (aka Mortgage Fraud) concerning the sale of 1720 North Sedgwick Street in your Old Towne district. (Should you wish to peruse this news item, it is still front-page news on The Register, my namesake news blog, www.GordonWatts.com<http://www.gordonwatts.com/> or www.GordonWayneWatts.com<http://www.gordonwaynewatts.com/> linked in my email signature below, and is titled: "(Tue. 01 Dec. 2015, from Staff Reports) Courts * Chicago Courts refuse to help elderly 'Mortgage Rescue Scam' victim; make him homeless:" -- I'm not the only reporter/editor, but, as it's an eponymous blog URL, I'm the editor-in-chief --and principal reporter.)
    I am told that Mr. Daniggelis, himself, was refused copies of said report(s), even tho, as finished investigations, they are public record. (I am told that he was told to "get a lawyer" or something, which - of course - is a violation of the public records laws. He may be of more assistance in providing details, and I can put you in touch with him should you desire.)
    You may "reply to all" of my email addresses in the cc line, and, if possible, you may send me electronic copies of said images (e.g., PDF, Jay Peg, PNG, gif image, tiff image etc.). I am working on deadline.

Actually, they may not have come for the Jews first, as it's more likely they came for the prisoners, mentally handicapped, &other so-called "inferiors" first -as historians tell us-so they could get "practiced up"; however, they did come for them -due to the silence of their neighbors -and due in part to their own silence.
