Here is a 'constituent request' I sent to selected leader -which is also a prayer request.
I ask you to join us in this prayer request.
Thank you,

Dear President Bush and Senator McCain (Cc: Presidential Candidate, Dr. Chuck Baldwin), I have a "constituent request," and since I have been a vigilant and thoughtful advocate of conservative policies (do a Google search on me!) -and since I have rarely asked you for all anything, I hope you would consider my meager request today:
* PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO HAVE GOD'S WISDOM WHEN VOTING FOR PRESIDENT & VP *
Gordon Wayne Watts (R-Lakeland, FL) (AKA "Gordon the Voter")
Candidate for Fla House of Representative, Dist.64 -and one of your constituents
PS ...Below, if you care to look, is the basis for my uncertainty; after all, you all have a 'vested interest' here:
McCain/Pail (Republican Party)
ABORTION: Pro-Life (good)
2ND AMENDMENT: Support (good)
ECONOMY: Oppose Pork & Earmarks (good), but supported the irresponsible bailout (very bad)
IMMIGRATION: Support sealed borders & humane path to citizenship (good)
Obama/Biden (Democratic Party)
ABORTION: Pro-'Choice' (bad)
2ND AMENDMENT: Pretend to Support (bad)
ECONOMY: Fiscal liberals (bad) -and supported the irresponsible bailout (very bad)
IMMIGRATION: Since they've flip-flopped on other issues, we can't know if they're telling the truth here (???)
Baldwin/Castle (Constitution Party)
ABORTION: Pro-Life (good)
2ND AMENDMENT: Support (good)
ECONOMY: Oppose Pork & Earmarks -and opposed the irresponsible bailout (good)
IMMIGRATION: Support sealed borders & humane path to citizenship (good)
So, the bottom line is I'm undecided which (of the two) choices is the right one, and seek God's wisdom:
*** Option #1: Vote for Dr. Chuck Baldwin & Mr. Darrell Castle (Constitution Party)
PROS: Dr. Baldwin seems the better candidate, and it would 'send the wrong signal' to vote for Sen. McCain regarding his bad vote on the irresponsible bailout. Besides, my sources tell me it looks like McCain/Palin will win in a very big "Reagan Landslide," thus they won't need my vote --and, if the Republican Party becomes real unpopular next election cycle (due to a bad economy), I will be glad I strengthened a deserving 3rd party.
*** Option #2: Vote for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin (Republican Party)
PROS: The 3rd parties don't have a prayer of winning, and we must use the "lesser of 2 evils" logic -I don't mean this disrespectfully: Sen. McCain & Gov. Palin are *not* evil by any stretch of the means.
For these reasons, I once again respectfully ask that you all:
* PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO HAVE GOD'S WISDOM WHEN VOTING FOR PRESIDENT & VP *
Gordon Wayne Watts (R-Lakeland, FL) (AKA "Gordon the Voter")
Candidate for Fla House of Representative, Dist.64 -and one of your constituents
