For context, in spite of disagreements I have with you, you still remain my favourite lawmaker—for at least 3 reasons: First, you bravely argued with Pres. Trump to include spending cuts in H.R. 1, One Big Beautiful Bill Act (FISCAL CONSERVATIVE), Secondly, you temporarily signed on to Glenn Grothman's student loan bankruptcy bill (needed to force down irresponsible liberal lending excesses, while offering student borrowers protection: Think of it as an “Economic Second Amendment”), and lastly, you genuinely try to work with all stakeholders—Conservative and Liberal—as real people: you seem a genuine Christian. I only hope that I, myself, can be as good a friend in addressing unresolved issues America faces—so here goes: Today, I'm doing something hard –namely, write you a formal apology for our misunderstanding the day I called in to C-Span back on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. When speaking with a legislative aid, he was kind enough to assure me you weren't mad. I believe you forgave me for my embarrassment –indeed, when reviewing my notes to refresh myself, it was painful just to watch that video again: I called in to support your own bill, H.R.5899, from the 116TH, a bill that would make future (but not current) student debt eligible for bankruptcy discharge, as practically all other debt—but somehow, my support of your own bill “went south.”
It's been over 3 years, a headache we'd both probably like to forget—so, I haven't said much since then. But there's a new time-sensitive element, impacting GOP mid-terms; please be patient. Thus, I feel a moral obligation to write you “one more time”—because I was able to figure out “what went wrong” –and offer more than a “verbal apology” – but rather “tangible help” to your situation: please bear with me “one more time,” Ralph, so I can clear my conscience.
PROBLEM: The problem wasn't your bill—it was good –and, as shown in attached research, probably the most important piece of legislation to address/fix both “Liberal Spending Excesses” AND “affordability” issues in higher education (a key reason we may lose the GOP midterms). The problem was the politically-difficult factor; I didn't “catch” that key nuance in my call that day.
SOLUTION: To you, the attached “list of supporters” for student debt bankruptcy availability (which now even includes VP JD VANCE, Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Chuck Grassley, and other “heavyweights” that only surfaced since my call in back in 2023) may look “ordinary,” but it's not “ordinary”: I've spent the past week from “sun up to sun down” proofreading my list to make sure it's “complete” –i.e., has ALL prominent GOP, Conservative, Christian, and right-leaning supporters of student loan bankruptcy availability—something not available to you back in 2023 when you probably wanted support for your excellent bill, but couldn't, due to lack of “GOP Political Cover.” Please see the attached “complete” list of GOP supporters, along with solid Constitutional, Moral, Biblical, and Economic reasons that your bill isn't merely “good,” but probably the “most needed” piece of legislation “on The Hill,” currently. One more thing – you may recall from past communications that I'm the guy who nearly won the 3RD-largest pro-life case all by myself (Google: Gordon Wayne Watts and Terri Schiavo : https://Google.com/search?client=opera&q=Gordon+Wayne+Watts+and+Terri+Schiavo – LINK: https://ContractWithAmerica2.com/NOTICE_OF_CONSTITUTIONAL_DEFECT_11USC523a8_WATTS_FEB_2026.pdf – or see my attached letter to the DOJ regarding a constitutional flaw in certain extant law –for proof of my 4-3 loss in Florida's high court doing better than the 7-0 loss former Gov. Jeb Bush encountered when we both made a bid to be Schiavo's guardian and save her life, remember?). Between that, and the solid Biblical, Constitutional, Economic, and Moral arguments I make, most would probably think that's 'enough' for you to take my recommendation seriously to “please reconsider” your legislation before the term ends. However, in the intervening time since we last spoke, a few extraordinary things happened that impact this matter, which I feel I should share: I had a few dreams about both you and Sen. Graham that I believe were from God –with guidance on getting out of this economic, political, and moral morass.
Now, when a total stranger says “I had a dream from God” about you, you should be VERY cautious and not take at “face value” anything that is said—but you should also not dismiss it—rather I respectfully ask you to “test the spirits” and remember that God is unchanging and –every generation– continues to speak to us. Some of this will be emotionally heavy, but what I'm about to share is ((1)) The God's honest truth, and ((2)) I “bring the receipts” to offer tangible proof that, in one key case, I did, in fact, dream about an event **BEFORE** it happened, thus implying that the dreams I had about you and Sen. Graham might be guidance from God on what we're facing.
SHORT VERSION of the 4 key dreams:
[[1]] SEN. DARLINE GRAHAM: Shortly after Sen. Graham was selected to fill the vacancy of her brother, the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, I had a dream that she was adopted by his family and was African American. As soon as I Googled this, I discovered that she was **indeed** adopted (by her older brother, Lindsey Graham), but also discovered that she's Caucasian (not Black, as depicted in my dream) and dismissed that dream. But a short time later, I saw news reports that she went to a HBCU, something that almost NO White Americans do—and so, remembering that many Biblical dreams are symbolic, I recalled Bill Clinton's application of “I'm the first Black President,” and understood this dream to be God –supernaturally– showing me that—symbolically—Sen. Graham is, indeed, “Black,” something I did NOT know before my dream. STATUS: I can't prove this—you're taking my word here, but the next entry offers definitive proof of God speaking to me.
[[2]] DR. STATUS: I can indeed prove this – My point? Unlike most of my dreams, Ralph, I have a copious paper trail that my dream, occurring on Saturday, April 29, 2023 (Late PM), was well BEFORE his untimely passing on Friday, December 22, 2023: Both the emails I sent, trying to warn him—and with copious cc recipients—as well as posted to his public Facebook page, warning him which date can not be altered—showing my dream was BEFORE the event (all that is included in my public statement). Thus, when I reflected on the 3 dreams I had about you and Sen. Graham, I felt that God might be telling me something; my conscience compels me to share with you—due to a certain “time sensitive” element of this situation which I clarify below. NOTE: While Ian had a serious health problem, it was not known to the public, and “on my end,” he looked young/healthy, thus a huge surprise when I found out he'd passed – just months after the dream to that effect!!
[[3]] YOU, REP. NORMAN: Right after my call-in that day, to C-Span –a misunderstanding that will live in the online archives for decades –I had a dream that you were trying to exercise every legal channel to silence or squelch me to avoid further embarrassment for your silent/tacit “flip flop,” and I felt real bad because I do not wish to offend or insult anyone. Especially you.
[[4]] YOU, again, REP. NORMAN: More recently (I don't recall exactly), I had a dream that you and other Freedom Caucus leaders were hanging out with me in a “positive” social setting, but under the weight of heavy political, social, and economic hardships at the time. (i.e., this dream depicted you not mad at me, thankfully).
My interpretation: If you or Senator Graham differ in your interpretations of my dreams, I'm open to hear your heart—but given overwhelming proof that God still shares hidden things (about the future: Dr. Punnett, or about the present: Sen. Graham), I feel my conscience telling me to share “guidance” I feel God is trying to share.
[[#1.]] GOP MID-TERMS: First, the GOP's in a “no win” scenario, and your own son has pledged to NOT vote for Sen. Darline Graham (and loads of people hate the GOP for its double standards, such as Trump getting bankruptcy discharge after copious tax breaks, and for billions, but student borrowers, not afforded even a chance to exercise bankruptcy defense = massive “double standard” = GOP loses votes), so my inference in the first dream is that, while Darline is probably not as Conservative as you, nonetheless, it was good that she win this election so she can call upon her standing as a “symbolically Black” American –who went to a HBCU– to support reinstatement of standard Article I Bankruptcy Uniformity for college debt, something that will help Black Americans, who disproportionately have twice the debt and 3X the default rates as average. *** I add: I'm not suggesting the GOP promise “free college,” but even this wouldn't be “Liberal”: Indeed, you're old enough to remember that our grandparents' era had FREE (or nearly-free) college for Americans, so, even IF you offered something similar, it would be no worse than what your generation had—and would likely help the GOP midterms avoid a wipe-out, if you know what I mean. [[#2.]] HOPE in the midst of TRAGEDY: Secondly, as tragic as my friend's passing is (I was friends with Ian, and often called in when he was weekend host on Coast to Coast: AM), I feel God is showing us, humans, that HE is God –and we AREN'T –and that God still speaks through whatever means He chooses, thus a reminder to listen to dreams –not take them at face value –but not dismiss them either: Test the Spirits.
[[#3.]] THE PAST: Third. I feel my dream about you being very mad at me, and my insistence on pushing for passage of your old bill is a real-world reminder from God that we're all human; we must be patient with one another.
[[#4.]] THE FUTURE: Lastly, the dream I had about you and I hanging out with Freedom Caucus members, but under a dark cloud of social unrest, and economic/political turmoil, was a message that times are going to get tough as lawmakers refuse to address out-of-control spending, but there's hope –and a future: trust God, move forward.
*** Conclusion: I feel horrible that I didn't write you sooner with a “complete list” for needed GOP political cover, Ralph (personal issues I'm facing delayed me), but I believe God can/will use our meager efforts –even at this late stage– to work miracles, IF we obey Him. I feel God is saying that –regardless of “long odds,” the “right thing” is to work with Sen. Darline Graham –overcome differences you and she have –and “reach across the aisle” to willing Democrats –and Republicans –and refile your bill, H.R.5899, from the 116TH. Yes, a difficult ask, but think: Who's facing more difficulty? You? For simply refiling a “political football” to force down Trillions in irresponsible lending in Dept of Ed student loan originations –something needed to avert disaster? Or me? Potentially “getting famous” as the “little guy” who convinced you to file a politically difficult bill to offer a “Conservative Alternative” to Liberal Free Handouts?
It was far more difficult for me to spend several weeks from “sun up to sun down” making sure my “GOP Political Cover list is complete –then risking backlash –than it is for you to do your part. Two (2) options: [[1]] File the bill before the mid-terms, and try to get “fast passage,” by suspending the rules (as was done with H.R.7730, a bankruptcy limits increase bill for business debt), push for passage after the mid-terms. Or: [[2]] Do nothing, and risk “what if” regrets we'll face if we do nothing, and then things go south. To that end, I have attached a “Dear Colleague” letter that (see attached draft letter), I think, will give you a chance of “finishing our work” before your term expires. Yes, you may fail, but on a personal note, I'm still in pain for both my loss in the Schiavo case (if only I had gotten one more vote) or wondering if I could have “tried just a little bit harder” to ensure Ian got my email, and at least knew I was praying for him. This 3RD time I feel urgency too—but I want this time to be different, Please at least try before it's too late. I'm including my own Member of Congress, Rep. Laurel Lee—whom I think leans a bit RINO—but has shown signs of hope—such as in her bipartisan Sloth bill with Democrat Maxwell Frost, or her human trafficking and AI porn legislation with Democrats AOC, Hakeem Jeffries, and other Democrats—and hope she and Sens. Rick Scott and Ashley Moody will rise to the occasion and take action to address these needs –and refile your old bill H.R.5899, 116TH –and suspend the rules for speedy passage.

the Conservative Press, I am sounding the alarm regarding the 45
million Americans currently crushed by $2T in student debt

The GOP risks a "Blue Wave" disaster in the upcoming midterms if we remain "tone deaf" to the basic fairness of bankruptcy uniformity. President Trump and Vice President Vance have previously acknowledged that the system is "incredibly corrupt," with Vance even calling for return of bankruptcy discharge availability for college debt and a "large university endowment tax," his exact words.[1.11] This disproportionately affects Black Americans, who bear twice the debt load and have 3× the default rate as average base rate, which itself is onerous and a factor in dangerous "doctor shortages" emergency rooms have -- a new phenomenon -- due to unaffordable "costs of college."[1.11].
If the GOP continues to protect rich university lobbyists over the 100 million Americans (borrowers plus family/friends) affected by this crisis, the "I told you so" print will go on record permanently. We want to do "Positive News Coverage" and "Vote Red," but your office must meet us halfway on 11 U.S.C. 523(a)(8).[1.11]
