Mr. Gordon W. Watts
821 Alicia Rd
Lakeland, FL 33801-2113

Dear Mr. Watts:

Thank you for taking the time to contact me with your ideas to address health care reform. I appreciate you taking the time to contact me and welcome the opportunity to respond.

We both agree ObamaCare has failed the American family. Today, the average family pays about 35 percent of their income on health care.

Additionally, the Obama administration confirmed recently that premiums under the Affordable Care Act will increase, yet again. For Floridians, that means premiums are expected to increase by an average of almost 19 percent by next year. This extreme surge will hurt many families.

Our president lied to us when he promised premiums would decrease. Premiums never went down, but continue to spike. So high, in fact, families have to make huge financial cuts in their already budgeted lives just to afford health insurance and put food on the table at the same time.

ObamaCare is a failure and will only continue to get worse. Premiums will continue to rise, and people will be faced with fewer options.

The American people deserve better and I look forward to working with President-elect Trump and his administration to repeal and replace this unaffordable and deeply flawed law.

It is an honor and privilege to represent constituents like you of the 15th District of Florida. To learn more on how I may serve you, please visit
